We believe in "mare power". Great mares are one of the most important parts of any breeding program. Our mares have been carefully picked for their pedigrees, conformation, quick speed, movement and most of all smart, willing attitudes. We do not breed for color and beauty, it just seems to come with this complete package. Our mares have the "cow sense" to hunt a barrel or a steer, and the athletic ability to be competitive in the barrel or roping arena, at the race track or jump a fence on a cross country course. They have good withers, good bone and feet, cinch deep, and beautiful sloping shoulders. To quote the great Italian horseman, Federico Tesio (1869-1954)- "A horse runs with his lungs, perseveres with it's heart, and wins with it's character".
Our broodmare pedigrees include these close-up Champions: Dash For Cash-SI 114; The Signature-SI 107; Red Hot Rhythm-SI 99; Skirt Chasin Alibi-SI 108; Royal Three Charge-SI 103; Top Moon-SI 100; Chicks Beduino-SI 104;, Dash Ta Fame-SI 113; Noor Charge-SI 92; Jet Deck-SI 100; Sugar Bars, AAA; Classy Bar; Three Bars; Leo; Ribbon Page, AQHA Champion.
| With Fond Memory, 1981-2007 Miss Jordash AAAT, SI 107, G1 & G3 Stakes winner. Rarely does one get a chance to own a beautiful and intelligent mare of this quality and breeding. But thanks to our dear friends, Ed and Mary Kyler they gave us that chance. Though we only had Jordash for a few short years near the end of her life, she brought us so much joy, and gave us such classy foals. We are still in awe of her to this day. In 1985, Miss Jordash earned a berth to the prestigious Champion of Champions race at Los Alamitos, CA. She had LTE- Race earnings of $121,869, 25 starts, 10 wins, 5-2nds, 2-3rds back in the early 80's. And to quote her legendary trainer, Blane Schvaneveldt, the mare had her "own fan club" that came to watch her run. In her day, she was one of the top money earning own daughters of AQHA Hall of Fame, World Champion Race Horse, Dash For Cash, SI 114. After her illustrious career on the track, out running World Champion Race Horse, Cash Rate, Miss Jordash produced 16 foals. Her dam was Hempens Mildred, TB, multiple ROM Race producer of $139,996 by AQHA leading sire, Hempen, TB. Miss Jordash's foals have earned $30,413 on the track, 6 ROM Race, 2 AAA, 4 AA and she is the dam of one of our leading broodmares, Silk N Dash x Skirt Chasin Alibi, SI 108. She is also the dam of our young bay stallion, Royal Three Dash, "aka Dr J" by Royal Three Charge, SI 103. How fortunate we are! |
| With Fond Memory, "1984-2009" Miss Nancy Can, black, Superior Halter, 77 AQHA Halter points is the dam of five of our broodmares. Bar none, she was probably the prettiest, most feminine mare we have ever seen and she passed that stylish beauty down to her offspring. She was simply gorgeous, had a very long hip, pretty, pretty head, and muscles galore -but moved easily over the ground with grace and speed. She acquired her Halter record by the age of two, and stood Grand Champion Yearling at the Denver National Stock Show in 1985. She was sired by the roan stallion, Brother Can, who was the sire of many Superior Halter, ROMs. He in turn, was sired by the renown Roan AQHA Champion, The Continental, who was both ROM Arena. The Continental was the sire of AQHA Champions, Supreme Champions, World Champion, Superior Halter. His sire and dam were also both AQHA Champions. Talk about pedigree power: |
