What a pedigree!
Pretty Classy Zip was a 15. 1" jet black stallion bred, born and raised here on our ranch. Larry and I leased his dam, Annie Pines Zip and bred her to the Superior Race, black AAA stallion, Noor Charge, who we owned and stood at stud for many years. Noor Charge, SI 92 was sired by the black stallion, Tiny Charger, SI 100 x Depth Charge, TB, AQHA Hall of Fame. Noor Charge retired completely sound after running at Los Alamitos for five years with famed trainer, D'Wayne Lukas. Noor Charge's dam was the AAAT mare, Noorella x Horse of the Year and track record setter, Noor, tb. Noor at age five is the only horse to have beaten two Triple Crown horses, Citation and Assault on the track.

Noor Charge went on to sire not only AAA and AAAT Race horses, but also sired three MQHA Year End State Performance Champions. They were lead changing machines, and "so" smooth to ride. We were so honored to have owned both Noor Charge and Pretty Classy Zip. Their daughters and grand daughters are carrying on their greatness in our broodmare band today.

Zip's dam, Annie Pines Zip, was a classy sorrel mare with big beautiful soft eyes and a sweet face, that many of Zip's foals inherit. Annie was sired by Zippo Pat Bars, SI 95, ROM Race, $1,856,  (sire of The Invester and Zippo Pine Bar) and out of an own daughter of AQHA Champion, Poco Pine x Poco Bueno, lots of "cow" here. Annie was the multiple producer and dam of 16 foals, many were futurity champions in Halter and Western Pleasure.

What color, what good bone and feet!
Pretty Classy Zip inherited his great feet, superior bone, speed and and big muscular hind quarters from Noor Charge. Zip lets color pass on to his foals - black, palomino, buckskin, blue roan, (even on APHA and ApHC mares.) His foals all seem to have that Zippo smooth way of going, sweet dispositions and pretty faces, and lots of "try". His get are making great rope horses, 4-H horses, ranch horses- cattle ranchers love 'em, and yet can run barrels too. Zip is the sire of Zips Commander, the 1997 and 1998 MQHA High Point Halter Stallion out of our Superior Halter mare, Miss Nancy Can.
