     Prairie Breeze Quarter Horse Ranch is owned by Larry and Nancy Lewis of Fairfield, Montana (approximately 30 miles NW of Great Falls, MT).  We have been in business for 40 years Showing, Breeding, Foaling and Selling Registered American Quarter horses.  We offer complete Equine Breeding Services including Artificial Insemination, Shipping and Receiving of Cooled Semen, and Foaling.  We stand at stud Profit Increase x First Down Dash and Royal Three Dash x Royal Three Charge.

Profit Increase, AAA is now the Sire of 2-Stakes Winners, 3-AAAT, 3-AAA, 8-AA, and 15 ROMs; his Race get have now earned $115,871 on the track.  He is siring colts that excel in Racing, Barrel racing, Roping and Three Day eventing.  Many are black in color.  They have very pretty heads, are quite muscled, with big hind quarters, short backs, straight legs, and have very quick speed. They simply are "people horses right from birth."

MIles City Win 2011- Snip Of Profit**FLASH - Snip of Profit, SI 97, $3,699 ROM, three year old bay colt by Profit Increase out of CR Classy Future x Sir Antonio, breeders/owners Linford Ranch, Jordan, MT won the Trials for the Miles City Dan Lockie Derby at Miles City Montana, May 8th.  He was never headed and ran a speedy 17.9 for 350 yds. Finals were canceled due to rain, May 21st/purse divided. (photo at left)

Profits Nifty Noni and Juli Jo Kelly**Profits Nifty Noni and Juli Jo Kelly of Ulm, MT riding her 6 yr old gray mare x Profit Increase added another $ 424 to their barrel earnings with their win in the 3D at the State NBHA Finals in Great Falls in October . In addition, they won a nice 5 -Star Saddle Pad in the Average. They now have collected  $2245 in Barrel earnings to date. (photo at left at 2011 JJK Finals)

**We were especially proud to see the photo of our Profits Babydoll, chestnut filly x Profit Increase and selling as Lot 89 in 2010 MBG Sale, featured as Reserve Photo Contest winner on pg. 75 of the August issue of Speedhorse Magazine, and then again on pg. 42 of the July issue of Barrel Horse News. Check it out, she is gorgeous.
 

Dr. JDash N Ta FameRoyal Three Dash, aka Dr J, is our dark bay stallion x Royal Three Charge, SW, SI 103 out of Miss Jordash, SW, SI 107 x Dash For Cash, SI 114. Miss Jordash , SI 107, Superior Race, G1 & G3 Stakes winner, earned a berth to the prestigious, 1985 Champion of Champions Race at Los Alamitos, CA. She had LTE- $121,869, 25 starts, 10 wins, 5-2nds, 2-3rds, retired sound then produced 16 foals. Red Hot N DashinDr J is now home and is standing at stud. His beautiful foals all have his brilliant mind, lightning speed, smooth gaits, and cow sense. We feel he possibly inherited the "large heart gene" for speed from both his dam, Miss Jordash x Dash For Cash and his granddam, Three Loves x Three Bars on his sire's side. Candy and Diggers at the 2011 JJK Barrel FinalsCongratulations - Candi Zion, Havre, MT and her 6 yr old gelding," Diggers", aka- Im A Royal Casanova x Royal Three Charge, SI 103 out of Smashed Tootie for winning the 2D Avg. Saddle, $702, and the Montana NBHA Open 2-D State Championship at the finals in Great Falls, MT. Candi bought Diggers this summer from breeder, Peggy Schluter, Helena, MT.

IT'S OFFICIAL! First Down Dash not only went into the AQHA Hall of Fame in March 2011, his Race get have earned a record $76+ Million dollars with $1,664,912 earned in 2011. He has record six All American Futurity (G1) winners and he is the only stallion that has sired 8 horses that have earned more than $100,000 each and the only stallion with 5 horses that have earned mFirst Down Dashore than $200,000 each. He is also a perennial Leading Broodmare Race sire.

First Down Dash, SI 105, $857,256 (1984-2010). We were quite saddened to learn of the passing of the phenomenal First Down Dash on November 25, 2010 at age 26. He is the Leading "Sire" of Barrel Horse Sires.  For the 5th Year in a row, he is the Leading Paternal Grandsire in the Barrel Racing industry.

MBG High Selling Stallion/High Selling WeanlingA consignment from Prairie Breeze QH had the honor of selling the High Selling Stallion/ High Selling Weanling at the 12th Annual MBG Sale.  He was the outstanding black stallion prospect, Lot 29, Profits CEO sired by Profit Increase out of Royals Nanette x Royal Three Charge.  He was purchased by Jiggs Main, Harlem, MT for $3700. Elaine Holling and Jags Express at NWBRA Finals 2004Keep on, Keepin On. Way to run! Elaine Hollings of Pavilion, WY and her 18 year old gelding, Jags Express by Royal Three Charge, SI 103 have now won a total of $49,000, five trophy saddles, bridles, horse blankets, buckles, bracelets, and assorted other year end prizes. She and Jag are like the famous bunny, they just keep on going!! In 2011, watch for Elaine and her 4 year old gelding Roy, sired by Royal Three Dash, they will be out there turnin barrels come spring. (Elaine and Jag's Express on left)
KR Profitibility KR Profitibility, SI 107, SW, aka "Billy",  bay gelding by Profit Increase has LTE- $20, 639.  In 2005, he won the Charlie Russell Futurity at 350 yds with a SI 105.  On July 23, 2006,  at Grande Prairie, AB, Billy  broke the five year old track record at 300 yards with a blistering time of 15.48 for a SI 107.   "Billy"  ran AAAT at three distances. He also won the Northern Bottling Stakes Race, July 23, 2006.
Way to run "Zuni",  aka Six Figured Effort, SI 93, 3 year old bay mare x Profit Increase out of KR Laurie Darlin x Six Fols.  In August, at Grande Prairie, AB, racing in the Merial Distaff Challenge Stakes at 400 yds, she increased her Race earnings with a solid AAA run. This brings her Race totals to a whopping $9,246 in two short summer seasons of racing for proud owner, Phil Dennis of Nanton, AB, (Magnum Trailer Sales).
KR Lucrative, SI 84, Race ROM, 4yr old Brown gelding by Profit Increase out of a daughter of Juno Dat Cash, has now earned $5,623 racing in Alberta for trainer and owner, Mike Bugeaud and ridden by jockey Laurina Bugeaud.

JCPH Go Go Carly JCPH Go Go Carly running barrels!JCPH Go Go Carly, SI 100, has boosted her earnings to over $24,232, as a two year old won the Bonnet-Brodon Futurity in race record time. After retiring sound from a solid race career, she has now entered barrel training.  A sorrel filly by Profit Increase out of Wholelotadoll, SI 102, LTE- $19,052+ x Wholelotta Stirrin, SI 108, she and owner, Joe Ella Signalness of J Cross Performance Horses, Vaughn, MT are now competing in barrel racing as a five year old.
Kay Anderson and her mare, A Passion For ProfitKay and A Passion For Profit Kay Anderson, Winchester, ID and her mare, A Passion For Profit x Profit Increase out of Passion Paige x Ribbon Page, on their third place and winning $960 in the Sand Cup Futurity/ Bottom Bracket in Pasco, WA on April 2-4, 2010. She also won the 2D Futurity Average of the VGBRA Futurity in April and collected another $896.85 over the weekend. Cally and Corona finished 3rd in BBI Futurity at the first BBI Futurity of 2010, the Lynda Ottun Memorial, Billings, MT.  They finished 3rd in the BBI Futurity at the Three Can Tango in September in Billings, MT.
